Diane DiGregorio

Diane is a NYS licensed Physical Therapist with 30+ years experience in the field. Diane received her baccalaureate from the Hunter College School of Physical Therapy, and has a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology. She is a certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults and is certified in CPR. Her background includes inpatient acute care and subacute rehabilitation, outpatient Orthopedic and Geriatric Care, Chest Physical Therapy, and Home Care Physical Therapy. Her clinical interests are geriatric rehabilitation, balance training and vestibular rehabilitation, and orthopedic rehabilitation. Diane has been with Advantage Physical Therapy for over 12 years. In her spare time, Diane enjoys biking, running, and hiking. You will also find her spending time with family and friends.

David is the Director of Rehabilitation Services at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he oversees all aspects of Physical and Occupational Therapies for the entire hospital. He has worked both in the outpatient orthopedic & sports medicine setting, as well as the hospital setting for 30 years. David brings 30 years of varied Physical Therapy experience to Advantage Physical Therapy. He is senior therapist for Advantage Physical Therapy's evening office hours. During his career he has worked in sub-acute rehabiltation and home care. His love of working with the orthopedic population has prompted him to take numerous educational classes in the area of assessment and treatment development for orthopedic conditions ranging from the neck all the way down to the ankle. David brings a wealth of clinical experience to our office. His 30 years of practice enable him to conduct a skilled, holistic assessment with great insight and provide individualized plans of care.

Josh received his Bachelor in Health Sciences degree from Touro College and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Touro College School of Health Sciences. Josh is a Certified Personal Trainer since 2008 and has been an avid fitness guru most of his life. Working in both fitness and physical rehabilitation, Josh is extremely motivated to use all the knowledge and skills he possesses to help his patients reach their goals and beyond to live a fully functional and active lifestyle. Josh lives by the motto “movement is medicine” and brings a special love and motivation when working with all of his patients. Josh has spent most of his life strength training but is involved in all types of exercises which he incorporates into his patients’ plan of care whenever necessary. These include yoga, pilates, powerlifting, cycling, strength training, balance, functional range conditioning, tai chi, endurance training, static and dynamic stretching, fat loss, muscle building and more. When he is not working with patients and clients, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife, exercising, watching basketball and sipping on some of his favorite single malt scotch.

Wendy is a full-time clinician and owner/director of Advantage Physical Therapy. Wendy has extensive experience in the field of trauma and neurological conditions, as well as orthopedics and manual therapy. She has been in practice for over 35 years, devoting the last 10 years to Orthopedic injuries affecting the spine and extremities, geriatrics, gait, and balance issues. She is an adjunct and clinical instructor for the New York University DPT program. Wendy received her baccalaureate degree from the University of Stony Brook and her physical therapy bachelor of science and Doctorate degrees from New York University. She is trained in the Joseph Pilates method and holds a certification as a Hip Specialist and Exercise Expert for the Aging Adult. In 1997, Advantage Physical therapy was created as a private outpatient clinic, providing individualized comprehensive care. It is recognized as a Hospital for Special Surgery Rehabilitation Network Select Participating location.
