“I have always enjoyed an active lifestyle with playing sports, farming, hunting, and fishing. I enjoy being part of a medical team and doing my part providing care to people. For me, people matter the most, whether it is helping them recover to a prior level of activity or helping them adjust to a life they want and can enjoy.” “With such an active lifestyle, I have had many injuries that I have had to recover from, and a few that made me adjust my lifestyle. I understand the amount of fear, anxiety, and difficulty it takes to go through a recovery or life changing event. Having the right people around you can make the difference when going through a difficult time. That’s why I enjoy giving back what I have received over the years.” William “Mean Ole Bill” Dornan enjoys spending time with his two boys and wife, Alayna Dornan, who also works as a PTA with Brewer Physical Therapy. Bill enjoys playing music at home with his family and playing in the worship band at church.

"I first became interested in physical therapy when I was a high schooler and a shoulder injury threatened to end my swimming career. I underwent physical therapy instead of surgery and am proud to say I am still swimming. I am forever grateful to the wonderful therapists I worked with and hope to help others as much as they helped me. I enjoy getting to know each of my patients individually and creating specific exercise programs to fit each patient’s needs.” Amanda Janszen has been practicing physical therapy since 2012, formerly in Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio. She specializes in treating a variety of orthopedic injuries as well as returning patients to their recreational activities, using exercise and manual interventions. Amanda enjoys swimming, golf, and spending time with her husband and dogs.

“I want to make a difference and encourage patients to reach their maximum potential – even when it feels like there is no hope. I grew up participating in gymnastics, which took a great toll on my body. I was in physical therapy due to some serious injuries. Fortunately for me, I had a physical therapist who never gave up on me. She worked hard to make me not just well enough to go back to “normal life,” but well enough to return to the sport I loved. She was persistent, compassionate, and understanding. I knew by the time I graduated that I wanted to be that person for someone else.” Karie is a recent graduate of physical therapy school. In her free time, she loves to volunteer with her husband at church by singing in the choir and participating in missions. Karie also loves reading, watching movies, singing, hiking, and working out with her husband.
