Dr. Lydia Picard earned her doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Florida in 2014. While at the University of Central Florida she pursued coursework in neurology and manual therapy while also working at the UCF Wellness center as a trainer for physically disabled college students. She recently completed her training in the Polestar Pilates method for rehabilitation. Her recent work experience includes working in a sub-acute inpatient facility with an emphasis on post-hospital rehabilitation for patients following joint replacement, stroke, and other medically complex conditions.

Betsy Goolgasian

Occupational Therapist

Betsy Goolgasian completed her degree in Occupational Therapy at Barry University, North Miami, FL in 1999. She has dedicated her career and study to orthopedic and neurologic conditions affecting the upper extremities. Conditions she frequently treat include rotator cuff pathology, shoulder replacement, shoulder impingement, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, and much more. She is able to fabricate custom splints for the hand and wrist for various hand diagnosis. Patients find her personable style, breadth of experience, and her New England bred warmth very motivational on their path to recovery.

Dr. Robert Voorhees

A graduate of the University Miami, Master's of Science Physical Therapy Program in 1995, Robert completed his doctorate education in 2015 at The EIM College of Health Professions in Louisville, KY. For the past 25 years, Dr. Voorhees has developed his expertise in vestibular rehabilitation, Pilates, craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, visceral manipulation, and treatment of the spine. He is one of the founders of Synergy Health and Wellness.

Keri Cook

Master of Science in Physical Therapy

Keri has been a physical therapist since earning her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Iowa. Over the past 17 years, Keri has developed physical therapy expertise in the management of orthopedic and neurological conditions including, but not limited to cervical dysfunction, lower back pain, sacroiliac dysfunction, thoracic pain, hip and knee pain, joint replacements and vestibular disorders. Keri utilizes a manual therapy called muscle energy techniques (METs) and 3-dimensional therapy from the teachings of Gary Gray. These techniques treat the whole person (mind, body, and spirit) and not just the injury.

Mandy Etcheverry

Mandy Etcheverry graduated with a dual degree in exercise science/cardiac rehabilitation from Ithaca College in 1997. She continued her studies in the Netherlands where she graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy in 1999. She has developed expertise in manual therapy in visceral manipulation and craniosacral therapy at the Upledger Institutue. Mandy is also an expert in movement analysis and restoration. She completed the Stott Pilates advanced certification and is an avid instructor and educator in the Pilates method for rehabilitation.

Amy Godes Gibson

Amy Godes Gibson is both a Physical Therapist Assistant and a Licensed Massage Therapist. She has been practicing since 1998 and spent 13 years working in a large orthopedic practice. Her knowledge of orthopedic conditions is indispensable and she has combined this knowledge with the healing touch of myofascial release, orthopedic massage, kinesiotaping, and medical exercise training to become a very unique healer. She recently completed her PTA Orthopedic Manual Certification at The Florida Institute of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (FIOMPT).

Alexandra Luce

Alex Gaboury is a graduate of the Physical Therapist Assistant program at South University. She also has an undergraduate degree in Biology from Salisbury University in Maryland. Alex assists our clients with the Synergy Power Hour program, which is a personalized strength and balance training program for clients that have exhausted their Medicare benefits. Ms. Gaboury has completed training in myofascial release and the myokinsesthetic system (MYK), both which are manual therapy curriculum designed to relieve a variety of pain complaints.

Theresa Moir

Theresa Moir is a graduate of the Physical Therapist Assistant program at South University. Besides growing up in Canada, her background includes training in yoga, Pilates, and personal training. In addition to her licensure as a physical therapist assistant, she is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Ms. Moir continues to add to her movement and fitness expertise as she is currently completing the Pilates for Rehabilitation Specialists at Polestar Pilates in Miami, Florida. Ms. Moir has received training in myofascial release and is currently one of our Synergy Stretch practitioners and teaches Pilates classes to our clients with medical concerns.
