MEET OUR PHYSICAL THERAPY STAFF
Michael earned both his Bachelor’s of Exercise Science (2017) and Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2019) from Saint Louis University. Having grown up in Orland Park as a Sandburg graduate, Michael is happy to return to Team Rehab Orland Park after working at the clinic as a technician in 2017. When working with Michael, patients can expect to be challenged in a comfortable environment to achieve their individual goals. He has a passion for rehabilitating orthopedic conditions – from returning high level athletes to peak performance, to easing normal everyday aches and pains. Whether it’s getting rid of pain, restoring balance, or simply trying to master movement, Michael is excited to help his patients along their wellness journey. Michael uses a variety of methods to aid in recovery including Graston Technique, spinal manipulations, and muscle energy techniques.
Jessica joined Team Rehab in the summer of 2016 and became owner of the Orland Park clinic in November of 2016. In 2011, she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Marquette University. Jessica understands that medical education is an ongoing process and she continues to supplement her university education with current courses and certifications. In 2013, she obtained her ASTYM® certification, which is a technique that regenerates healthy soft tissue through the use of special tools. In that same year, Jessica completed her manual therapy certification, which is a strenuous course with a concentration in high grade mobilizations. In 2016, Jessica obtained her orthopedic specialty certification, and in 2017, she obtained her dry needling level 1 and level 2 certificates. In 2019, Jessica obtained her certification in Blood Flow Restriction, a new technique to minimize muscle atrophy and promote light weight strengthening.
Rachel was born and raised in Orland Park. She loves that she can help the people she grew up with and help their families lead happy and healthy lives. Rachel spent six years in Milwaukee, WI earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Marquette University. While there, she spent time interning in the Strength and Conditioning Gym working with a variety of Marquette’s great athletes, including tennis, track and field, and lacrosse. Rachel also spent many years personal training and teaching group fitness classes. In her career as a physical therapist, she loves to work with a variety of patients and issues – with a focus on lower extremities and shoulders. Rachel enjoys building strong relationships with her patients and helping be their voice during a tough season of their lives. “Graduation day” from therapy is usually bittersweet because she gets so invested in each patient and will miss them.
