Dr. Robert Killebrew is the Lead Contract Physical Therapist at Austin Physical Therapy. Robert knows what it takes to compete at a high level. As a national champion college football player, Robert found his passion for performance physical therapy early. Dr. Killebrew bridges the gap between traditional rehabilitation and sports performance training. Robert uses conventional and unconventional methods, modalities, and techniques learned during his numerous travels as an amateur and professional athlete to quickly reduce pain, improve function and increase durability in his patients. Robert has worked with many athletes at the pinnacle of their careers, including professional dancers, NFL, NBA, MMA and endurance athletes. Robert has a unique and specialized skill set in improving the performance of athletes recovering from injury. Robert Killebrew believes through the mindful practice of proper movement the human experience can be fully appreciated.

Wendy is a graduate in physical therapy from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is a board certified sports specialist and has been practicing in outpatient and sports medicine settings nationally for 20+ years. Her clinical specialty is treatment of shoulder, elbow and knee injuries, with a specialized interest in the overhead, female and ACL injured athlete. Wendy utilizes an evidence-based approach to practice, and incorporates a combination of manual techniques and exercise to assist patients in normalizing their movement biomechanics with the goal of returning patients to their pre-injury activity level Wendy also has a PhD in biomechanics from the University of Delaware. She is an award winning investigator who has lectured and published extensively. In parallel to her clinical interests, her research interests include the throwing and ACL injured athlete. Her goal is to perform patient-driven research and translate investigation results into clinical practice.

Cullen Nigrini is Austin's first Physical Therapist to obtain board certification in both Sport and Orthopaedic Physical Therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. He is a certified/licensed Athletic Trainer working with elite athletes since 1999. Nigrini has worked directly as a Physical Therapist and or an AT in the NCAA, NBA, NFL and privately treats elite athletes daily.
