Karen Davis Warren

Karen Davis Warren brings a wealth of knowledge to her patients incorporating over 20 years of physical therapy and sports medicine experience and education. Karen holds a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Southern California. Prior to founding One on One in 2004, Karen was the full time Primary Healthcare Provider for the Women’s Tennis Tour and covered over 19 events worldwide including 4 Grand Slams. She worked in the US Olympic Training Center and traveled with the US Olympic Speed Skating Team, attending World Cup Competitions in China and Japan. Karen also served on the US Olympic Committee Titan Games and was an ACOG Physical Therapist/Athletic Trainer for the Beach Volleyball Summer Olympics in Atlanta. Karen is married and enjoys spending family time with her husband Christian and their beautiful daughters Charlize and Danielle. She is active in anything sports related.

Lance Cross

Lance Cross earned his Master of Physical Therapy Degree from Baylor University in 1998 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine from California University of Pennsylvania in 1992. Lance specializes in orthopedic physical therapy with a particular focus on treating patients with chronic pain syndromes and athletes with knee injury. Lance began his career in the U.S. Army where he developed skill with osteopathic spinal and joint manipulation through working with and studying under notable specialists in the field to include the world-renowned Timothy Flynn. During his time with the Army he served as Chief of Physical Therapy at Fort Drum, NY and Fort Polk, LA. He developed a running injury prevention program that was adopted by the U.S. Military and went on to become a Certified Sports Metrics Trainer with a focus on rehabilitating and preventing knee injury in athletes. During the latter half of his career Lance studied pain sciences under the instruction of the Neuro Orthopedic Institute of Australia and has developed a reputation as specialist in the treatment of patients with chronic pain. He has guest lectured to various support groups under the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association regarding P.T. care for chronic pain. He has served as a guest lecturer for Emory University’s Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency program and has also lectured to nurse case managers.

Mary Beth Verlander:

Mary Beth Verlander’s passion for physical therapy comes from first hand experience— as a patient. In her quest to find successful treatment, Mary Beth pursued, and continues to pursue, extensive continuing education to fine-tune her manual and neuromuscular reeducation skills. She uses advanced manual therapy techniques from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the Barral Institute to determine the root cause of the physical problem, sometimes distant to the injury site. Her treatment approach allows her to see patients less often, and because it is integrates multiple body systems, her patients’ can experience improvement in other body systems, such as digestion, breathing, and sleeping, to name a few. To facilitate improved movement patterns, Mary Beth uses the Red Cord System and exercises from her advanced coursework at the Postural Restoration Institute. Blood Flow Restriction Training is part of repertoire for strength gains.

Melissa Baudo

Melissa earned both a Master of Physical Therapy and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Emory University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from The Ohio State University, where she was a member of the Women’s Club Soccer team. Melissa is certified in Manual Therapy through the University of St. Augustine and is board certified in Sports Physical Therapy. Her area of specialty practice includes Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics. She is also a Polestar trained Pilates Instructor. Melissa is trained in the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and Selective Functional Movement Analysis (SFMA). She has also received training in Functional Dry Needling through Kinetacore. Melissa utilizes Redcord Suspension Exercise and The Neurac Method. In addition, she is the only Certified Neurac Instructor in the southeast.

Savas Koutsantonis

Savas Koutsantonis brings over 30 years of physical therapy experience to One on One, and holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences, Arizona School of Health Sciences. Prior to joining One on One, Savas was the Founder, Director, and Co-owner of Spine and Sports Rehabilitation Center in Timonium Maryland, and Associate Director, Co-owner of Maryland Center for Physical Therapy, and the Physical Performance Institute. Savas designed and implemented clinical and wellness programs for orthopedic populations after visiting and consulting with nationally recognized spine centers including; the San Francisco Spine Institute, and PRIDE Rehabilitation in Dallas, Texas. Additionally, Savas performed certified peer reviews and independent physical therapy evaluations for regional insurance companies. Savas served as adjunct faculty of the University of Maryland Physical Therapy Department, and clinical instructor of students from physical therapy programs in Maryland, Delaware, and Georgia. Savas also served as physical therapy and ergonomic consultant for the McCormick Spice Company and consultant for the Baltimore School of Arts and Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.

Ami Kirollos




Ami Kirollos joined One on One Physical Therapy after completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University School of Medicine with the highest honors. While at Emory, Ami focused on her passion for dance medicine and pelvic floor therapy, completing specialized hands-on clinical at the Atlanta Ballet, where she continues to work for as a physical therapist. Ami was raised in New York, where she developed a passion for sports and the arts. Ami grew up dancing and ultimately pursued studies in dance movement therapy as an undergraduate. However, after taking a course in dancer injury prevention instructed by the ballet’s physical therapist, Ami’s plans quickly changed and her journey to becoming a physical therapist began. Prior to physical therapy school, Ami worked in the fitness industry specializing in personal training for women clients pre and post-natal. While working, she became especially interested in the role of pelvic floor dysfunction in athletes.

Stephanie Ballis




Stephanie Ballis earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University. Prior to that, she worked in business and sales, graduating cum laude from the University of Denver with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Psychology. Stephanie chose a career in Physical Therapy because she felt that it was the one field that targeted mental and physical well-being simultaneously. Stephanie has a personal interest in athletics, orthopedic injuries, and the psychological components of recovery. Stephanie is a strong proponent of preventative medicine and was involved in the ACL prevention research conducted at One on One. Stephanie feels that because of her personal experience with the One on One difference as a student, patient, and now as a clinician that she can positively influence the outcomes and lives of those that she treats.
