MEET OUR PHYSICAL THERAPY STAFF
Maureen opened PTPro in 2005 with after 15 years of clinical experience in multiple orthopedic settings. She had a vision for a center of excellence staffed by passionate, caring, professionals. Maureen graduated Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Allied Health and as an Honors Scholar in Physical Therapy in 1991. She is Board Certified as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics with the American Physical Therapy Association. She has worked in a range of settings, from treating the injured worker to the professional (NBA, NHL, NFL) and X-game athlete. She has worked very closely with multiple orthopedic surgeons and physiatrists. She has always focused on hands-on care and precise exercise prescription. Maureen has experience in rowing, rock climbing, mountain biking, weight training, marathon running and mountaineering. She spends all of her free time with her husband and two active daughters adventuring in the PNW.
Alice graduated from the University of Washington in 1997. She continues to pursue post-graduate education in manual therapy and neuromuscular retraining. Alice has a wide-range of experience in all areas of PT. She enjoys post-surgical rehabilitation (she has personal experience with ACL reconstruction) and working with runners, endurance athletes and yoga enthusiasts. She uses a combination of hands-on care, yoga, Pilates and functional strengthening with her patients. Outside of work, Alice loves the PNW and enjoys running, hiking, doing downhill and cross-country skiing, rafting and mountain biking. She stays active and strives for her clients to stay active as well. Kathleen has long established herself as a deeply knowledgeable therapist ready to help her patients achieve their goals. She earned her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences in 1998 as well as a B.A. in Psychology from The University of Washington in 1991. She is Board Certified as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics. Kathleen takes a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation, considering the whole body when treating injuries by combining manual therapy and functional retraining. She continues to add to her experience and knowledge with ongoing education in manual therapy techniques, including Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), myofascial release as well as Functional Movement Assessments. Kathleen spends her time away from work with her husband and two busy girls enjoying all that the PNW has to offer.
Mary Frances Miller
Mary Frances is a high energy professional who earned a B.S. in Biology from Gonzaga 1991. Working as a trainer at the university level, she pursued her degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington in 1994. Mary Frances combines her many years of experience with a passion for building a rehabilitation program to fit every patient individually — from post-op to Iron Man, desk jockey to weekend warrior. She is certified in Activity Coaching through the Washington State L&I PGAP Program. She is currently working towards a certification as a manual therapist and is always exploring ongoing education opportunities. Mary Frances is ready to help her patients get moving and stay active. When she is away from her job, Mary Frances loves to travel to far-away places.
Steve’s passion for physical therapy stems from his belief that everyone finds certain physical activities that give their life meaning, and a desire to help people return to those activities when physical impairment prevents this. He believes that clients are people with unique life experiences that should guide treatment of the person as a whole. He harbors a special interest for pain science and empowering his clients to take control of their pain experience. He believes that in order to address pain, all aspects of the pain experience should be addressed Steve is an accomplished runner having competed in seven Boston Marathons and over a near decade of competitive marathon experience.
Rebecca received her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington in 2005 and thereafter she worked as a Personal Trainer at a small studio. She then graduated from Temple University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program in 2015. She received her board certification as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) in 2017 from Evidence in Motion. She has practiced in various outpatient settings and specializes in post-operative rehabilitation, general orthopedics, chronic pain, running injuries and weightlifting injuries. Her role as a physical therapist is to listen to your story, help you figure out what is going on, and guide you towards recovery by utilizing manual therapy, exercise and education. In her spare time, she enjoys running, biking, weight training, playing with her cat, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
MPT, OCS, CFMT
Laura incorporates her athletic background with extensive ongoing education. She earned her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington in 2001 and became an Orthopedic Certified Specialist in 2011. She became a Certified Functional Manual Therapist in Aug of 2020. She is focused on women’s health and all pelvic related issues. Manual tissue mobilization and hands on neuromuscular facilitation are key aspects of Laura’s treatment success. She loves working with athletes of all ages with a personal background in gymnastics and has a blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do. She has extensive experience with lumbar, pelvic, and sacroiliac pain syndromes. Laura keeps active with Pilates training, yoga, skiing, swimming, scuba diving, traveling and spending time with her two kids and husband.

Megumi works to help her patients reach their goals with a powerful tool set built through extensive training. She received an M.S. in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in 1994 and then earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Pacific University in 2009. She is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist with The North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy where she completed her fellowship training. She is also a Certified Functional Manual Therapist with the Institute of Physical Art where she teaches in the U.S. and in Japan, . She is experienced with the treatment of pelvic floor conditions for both men and women. She enjoys traveling and spending her downtime with her husband and son.
