He is a regular contributor to Men’s Journal. He especially enjoys seeing his work translate into higher levels of function in his patient population. David's past and current clients include Matt Forte, Dwayne Wade, Gilbert Arenas, Tracy McGrady, Tommie Harris, and the many clients that come through React Physical Therapy every day.

Andrew Yoon

Certified in Dry Needling Andrew Yoon received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northwestern University and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Illinois – Chicago. Previously, Andrew has held roles as a high school math teacher through Teach for America and president of an a cappella group at Northwestern. He was also a multi-sport athlete in high school. Drawing from these leadership and social experiences, Andrew utilizes an open, patient-centered approach in which he encourages patients to set personal goals, track progress toward those goals, and remain active participants in their recovery. Andrew stays healthy and fulfilled by traveling, bouldering, lifting weights, playing basketball, and occasionally monitoring his overall meat intake. He stays unhealthy and fulfilled by indulging in bubble tea and Asian baked goods and playing his Nintendo Switch on the L. Andrew started at React during his final clinical rotation.

Franco Calabrese

Certified in Dry Needling Franco Calabrese received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Illinois-Chicago. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Franco spent four years in Finance as a futures trader. An avid sports fan and athlete from a young age, Franco has first-hand knowledge of how maintaining an active lifestyle can impact the body. He understands how a well-rounded, disciplined, and hands-on approach can help in achieving a balanced and strong foundation in all areas from everyday activities to competitive sports. Franco is also certified in dry needling.

Michele Schultz

Michele Schultz received her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois ­– Urbana-Champaign and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of Illinois – Chicago. Michele has always been a sports enthusiast, participating in competitive soccer, gymnastics, and softball from a young age. Today, she continues to play these sports recreationally, as well as enjoying personal fitness through various yoga, barre, spin, and HIIT classes. In her free time, she enjoys exploring all that Chicago has to offer and surrounding herself with friends and family. Michele is dedicated to helping her patients by incorporating ideals of overall wellness and function to address each individual’s unique goals in returning to their everyday life activities. She is committed to having patients feel empowered and involved in their rehabilitation through education and partnership.
