Kate Esler, PT, DPT

PHYSICAL THERAPIST BIO

Kate earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rutgers University. She received her Bachelor’s in Health and Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from Wake Forest University. Her professional interests include outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, and pediatrics. Kate’s interest in pursuing physical therapy came from a desire to help patients reach their full potential and return to the activities that are most important to them. She strives to provide patient-centered care by developing individualized physical therapy plans using a combination of manual techniques and therapeutic exercise. Growing up, Kate played soccer and softball competitively and continues to stay active through regular exercise. In her free time, Kate enjoys acting as a mentor for a local high school student and exploring her new home in New York City.

Christina Rubin, PT, DPR

PHYSICAL THERAPIST BIO

Christina obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Dominican College, and earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in in Biological Psychology from Pace University. Christina was born and raised in Staten Island, where she became a competitive athlete. She played basketball at Division 1 and Division 2 levels and solidified a spot on the USA women’s basketball team in Ireland. During her time as an athlete, Christina underwent two ACL surgeries which sparked her interest in the field of physical therapy. After fully recovering, she continued to compete in sports, both basketball and weightlifting. Christina has extensive clinical expertise in treating patients with various conditions including sports-based injuries, neurological disorders, and post-operative procedures. She is certified in LSVT big treatment for Parkinson’s disease and has extensive experience working in Pediatrics and Vestibular rehabilitation.
